Rachel M. – Nashville Senior Photographers

Just wanted to take a second and post a quick little teaser from Rachel’s Senior Session that we photographed last week at Father Ryan High School.  Rachel was a trooper and ran around with us in the wind and cold for a little while, but we got some awesome photos to show for it!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and getting a chance to go play in the snow!

Amber, aka Agnes, is a ton of fun, really sweet and incredibly photogenic.  We had a great time getting to know her and wish her the best in the fall when she leaves for NYC to pursue a degree in dance.  And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s about 5 thousand words more about her for you…

Details are starting to fall into place for the tornado victim’s photo day, expect a blog post very soon.  Suffice it to say, I’m excited about it and some really amazing photographers have agreed to help out.  Stay tuned for details.

Allison’s senior shoot was the second shoot of the weekend for us in Elizabethton and it turned out awesome!  Not ones to be slowed down by a little downpour, we went out in a pretty nasty thunderstorm (it’s actually the same storm that caused all of the tornadoes in Murfreesboro) and it really paid off!  Thanks, Allison, for allowing us to think outside the box a bit and being willing to do stuff like, “jump in that puddle… go stand in the rain… go get on that roof, yeah, right next to the ‘No Trespassing On Roof’ sign.”

Can’t wait for you to see the rest!

Taylor – Elizabethton High School Football

Our good friend Andy Curtis, who you may have seen around our site a few times, is one of the football coaches at Elizabethton High School in East Tennessee.  In the mood to shoot something different before hitting the wedding season hard, Andy and I discussed doing a stylized shoot of some of their football players, so Adrienne and I took the opportunity to head out there this past weekend for a little test shoot, since we were headed out that way for an OpLove session anyway (more on that later this week).

Now, I know that it may look like I posed for these photos myself, since we have very similar body types, but this is actually Taylor, who is a Junior at Elizabethon HS and was our model for the test shoot.  Taylor freakin’ rocks.  He’s the most humble person I’ve ever met who could probably kill me with his pinky finger, and probably not even notice that he did it.  He’s also designing his own clothing line, which is pretty cool.  This shoot also doubled as a Senior Session for him, meaning that he got some of the slickest senior photos ever, if I do say so myself.

Over the course of Friday and Saturday, we photographed 3 senior sessions, a quick band session, a model session and an OpLove session.  They all rock, and they’ll all be posted one a day, over the next 5 days, so come on back tomorrow.

On a different note, please keep those who were affected by the tornadoes in Middle Tennessee and Kentucky in your thoughts.  We’re in the beginning stages of planning something to help out, so be on the lookout for a post about it soon.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure to leave some comments!
