Nashville Wedding and Portrait Photographers
Thanks for stopping by, we're glad you came! We're Nashville portrait and wedding photographers, Chris & Adrienne Scott, a husband and wife photography team. We live outside of Nashville, Tennessee with our Boston Terrier, Wilson. Here are a few random facts about us:
- We met while in school at James Madison University, in Virginia
- We tied the knot on December 13, 2008 at Owen Chapel in Brentwood, TN
- We distinctly remember the wedding planning process and don't envy our wedding couples at all
- We were both band geeks in school, Adrienne on oboe and tuba, and Chris on trumpet
- Chris is a terrible dancer, but will make an attempt to bust a move at your reception anyway
- Adrienne talks in her sleep and will sometimes hold entire conversations
- We're both Navy brats although Adrienne spent most of her life in Northern Virginia while Chris has lived in Hawaii, the Philippines, California, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee
- In our free time we like to take Wilson to the dog park and go to the drive-in movies
- We love to laugh, and do so almost non-stop
- We absolutely love what we do and we take our jobs, but not ourselves, very seriously

So, I love my wonderful husband. A lot. He puts up with a lot from me, too. I’m a very lucky gal.

Wow, does Cohen have some admirers or what?! I promised another image to my dear EPE friends for your wonderful comments, and here it is. You can’t tell, but Cohen is wearing a “baby brother” shirt, and his big sister’s shirt says “big sister.” And let me tell you, sis is very serious about her big sisterly duties! These two are such cute kids.
And you’ll be seeing more of these kiddos on the blog throughout the year, which we’re super excited about! (Oh, and I’m also excited that it’s the weekend, but that’s nothing new!)

This is Cohen. I think I can safely say this was the longest photo shoot of his life. It’s only been 9 days, so I’m pretty sure I’m not lying or exaggerating. We’ll have plenty more of this adorable little man up on the blog in a couple of weeks, but I felt that the world needed to see at least one photo of him for now.

With all of this snow lately, we were just dying to get out and shoot a session in it! Thankfully, Nate & Kelly, who live right around the corner from us (and are amazing business-people and artists in their own right) were up for a bit of an adventure! We braved the icy roads and shot in one of our favorite little hidden spots in Nolensville. I absolutely LOVE what we came away with and I am so happy that we took the chance and went out! I couldn’t stop smiling while editing their photos, their outgoing, fun-loving personalities are contagious and their love for each other is written all over their faces! The way back up the hill into our neighborhood was interesting, to say the least. After a failed attempt to make it up the hill at the main entrance to our neighborhood, we took a back way in and had to try twice to get up the hills that way. The neighborhood’s a huge mess and it doesn’t look like it’s going to clear up anytime soon. But, the bright side is that we’ll be going out sledding with Nate, Kelly and Kristen Steele again tomorrow (well, today, I guess… that’s what I get for writing these posts at 1am).

Just wanted to take a second and post a quick little teaser from Rachel’s Senior Session that we photographed last week at Father Ryan High School. Rachel was a trooper and ran around with us in the wind and cold for a little while, but we got some awesome photos to show for it!
