Love – It’s That Time of Year

So, I love my wonderful husband. A lot. He puts up with a lot from me, too. I’m a very lucky gal.

Don’t forget, it’s that time of year to tell that special someone how much you care!

Evin Krehbiel and Kate Whitmore photographed our wedding back in December 2008, and were nice enough to let me mess up the images in photoshop myself. =)

Have a happy Valentine’s Day next weekend!

Love,

Cans for Comments & Top 5’s of 2009!

HEADER-cans4comments530Hello all!  Last year, Chris + Lynn Photographers started Cans for Comments as a way to share some of the blog love they received and to give back to their community.  Cans for Comments has grown tenfold this year, with photographers participating from all over North America.

We’re excited this year to participate and figured we’d make a little event of it!  So, from now until January 1st, we’ll be posting our 2009 Top 5 Images blog posts, starting this afternoon with our 2009 Top 5 High School Senior Portraits.

For every comment we receive, we’ll donate one canned good to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee!  Expect a new post every other day or so and tell a friend to come check them out, and most of all, leave a comment!

Also, if you run a blog and would like to participate in Cans for Comments, just sign up here!

Chris & Adrienne – Our Wedding Album!

So, it’s been about 9 months since our wedding and I’ve finally gotten around to finishing our wedding album. Some major props are due to everyone who helped us out with our wedding. We did a lot of bartering and wouldn’t have been able to have the perfect wedding if we didn’t have the perfect friends.

Before you see the massive list of amazing friends who helped our day become a perfect reality, I have to say thanks some more. You all who helped our wedding day be the best we could have ever imagined, thank you so much. Our thanks will never show you our entire appreciation. We also had an amazing wedding party… Amanda, Shelly, Lisa, and Kate were awesome bridesmaids and kept me calm through the stressful stuff, and laughing the whole time. Amanda, you’re the best maid of honor I could have ever asked for. Dave, Brent, Ben, and Jenn were awesome groomspeople who definitely brought up the cool factor of the group. Dave, you were an amazing best man and Chris is so blessed to have such an amazing brother. Dan and Lisa did awesome jobs with their readings (mad props to Lisa for bringing your camera and taking a couple shots of the guests before you did your reading). Kelbie and Kareesa looked uber cool and passed out programs. Our parents were so supportive and encouraging. Our friends and family who attended, you all made us feel so loved and supported. Everyone laughed, danced, and posed for the photobooth all morning (that’s right, we had a morning wedding with a brunch reception!).

We had some amazing musicians as well. Josh and Andy played and sang perfectly during our ceremony and we were able to show off not only how talented our friends are, but one of the reasons we love Nashville. Deb came out from Boston, and sang with Josh and Andy and performed “Forever”, by Ben Harper. During our reception, Dylan and Jennifer worked their magic and ran sound, both live and canned. Sean McConnell serenaded us during our first dance to his song “Close Enough”. He played a set, then we were serenaded some more by Doug (who included an AWESOME version of “The Electric Slide”), and Josh and Andy.

This brings me to our slideshow song. Although the feel of the song doesn’t fit a lot of our goofy images (especially from the photobooth), this is one of the songs that Doug sang during our reception. Doug and I met at James Madison University, both playing tuba in the marching band (that’s right, folks, I marched tuba!). Doug is not only an amazing friend, but an incredibly talented songwriter and performer. One day I know I will be able to say “I knew him when” and maybe he’ll let me get in to one of his sold out shows for free. =) After Chris & I returned from our honeymoon, I emailed Doug and asked him to record one of the amazing songs he’d played live at our reception. This song, Doug, makes me cry every time. So keep watching the slideshow until the end of the song. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Doug.

So, on with the slideshow!
