Jayson & Meghan Beckwith – Virginia Beach Wedding Photography

As promised, a TON more images from Jayson & Meghan’s Virginia Beach wedding!  This, I can pretty safely say, is the longest slideshow we’ve put together, coming in at 101 images!  It was too hard to take stuff out because we loved so many of them!  Here’s some stuff to look for:

- ridiculous amounts of smiling and laughing, this is a truly, deeply, happy couple who knows how to have a good time
- the ring bearer running full sprint to the altar and back, which was awesome
- the father/daughter dance that started innocently and turned quickly into the fully choreographed “Thriller” dance
- Ron’s (Meghan’s dad) face after he and Meghan pull of the “Thriller” dance perfectly
- amazing details at an incredible location
- a stunning bridal party with Mom as Matron of Honor and Grandpa as Best Man (which Adrienne and I both think is super classy)
- the song in the slideshow, “This is Home” by Switchfoot, was sung live by Meghan’s brother, Cameron, for their first dance (and he nailed it!)

Click below for the slideshow!

Meghan & Jayson, thanks so much for letting us be a part of your day.  Adrienne and I are so happy for the two of you!

Keep an eye out for one more slideshow coming sometime this week from Meghan & Jayson’s wedding, featuring a bunch of images from their Photo Booth.  You’re definitely not going to want to miss this one, it’s epic.

Jayson & Meghan Beckwith – Teaser

I absolutely cannot wait to show you more images from Jayson and Meghan’s wedding in Virginia Beach this weekend; gorgeous details, amazing location, stunning bridal party, and one of the most heartfelt ceremonies we’ve had the opportunity to witness made this wedding one of our all-time favorites!  On top of that, Meghan’s family is as dear to me as my own, so it was such a privilege to be a part of her and Jayson’s day.

Keep checking back for a ridiculous amount of Virginia-Beach-Wedding-Hotness, including the *best* photo booth in the history of photo booths, hitting the blog over the course of the next week!  In the meantime, here’s one of Adrienne’s shots from just after Jayson & Meghan’s ceremony to keep you going until then!

Seriously…

Best. Photo booth. Ever.

Stay tuned,

Matt & Heather – Franklin Engagement Session

We ran around with Heather & Matt in Franklin today on one of the most gorgeous days that we’ve had in a while here in Nashville.  It’s always nice to have a good excuse to get out from behind the computer and go play outside on a day like today.  We had an awesome time hanging out with them for a couple of hours, spending a healthy portion of our time laughing at highly inappropriate jokes and comments.  I think it’s safe to say that good times were had by all.

Thanks, guys, for being willing to do pretty much anything I asked (see last image =D).  Sorry about the case of West Nile that we’ve probably all contracted from the mosquitoes, but hey, the shot turned out great!

Can’t wait for the wedding & the downtown Nashville day-after session!

Sean McConnell – The Walk Around EP (aka my job freakin’ rocks)

So, I get to hang out with and photograph super talented people, then they’ll send me copies of our artwork combined with theirs?  Yes, please.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Sean McConnell, who’s signed to Warner Chappell Publishing, for his last two albums and we just got our copies of his newest EP, The Walk Around,  in the mail today.  There’s something really cool about seeing our work as a visual interpretation of someone else’s (really freakin’ incredible) music.  It also doesn’t hurt to see my name in album credits.  =)

Sean’s “lyrics based roots rock” is definitely something you should check out, he’s pretty incredible.  Visit his site here, or listen to his music here.  You can thank me later for tipping you off to some great music.
