Chris and Adrienne Scott, Photographers | Nashville Wedding & Portrait Photographers bio picture

well hello there.

Thanks for stopping by, we're glad you came!  We're Nashville portrait and wedding photographers, Chris & Adrienne Scott, a husband and wife photography team.  We live outside of Nashville, Tennessee with our Boston Terrier, Wilson.  Here are a few random facts about us:

- We met while in school at James Madison University, in Virginia
- We tied the knot on December 13, 2008 at Owen Chapel in Brentwood, TN
- We distinctly remember the wedding planning process and don't envy our wedding couples at all
- We were both band geeks in school, Adrienne on oboe and tuba, and Chris on trumpet
- Chris is a terrible dancer, but will make an attempt to bust a move at your reception anyway
- Adrienne talks in her sleep and will sometimes hold entire conversations
- We're both Navy brats although Adrienne spent most of her life in Northern Virginia while Chris has lived in Hawaii, the Philippines, California, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee
- In our free time we like to take Wilson to the dog park and go to the drive-in movies
- We love to laugh, and do so almost non-stop
- We absolutely love what we do and we take our jobs, but not ourselves, very seriously

Not our dog, but it could be.

Coming up for air…

Been super busy with working and shooting and editing, but I wanted to post a little from the last few days.

Went out with Evin for a few hours on Monday to work on some new ideas and hang out with some cool people. Susie and Casey joined us and worked it for a little while in downtown Franklin. Afterward, they took me to Mellow Mushroom for my birthday! Sweet.

Here’s a shot of Evin workin’ her 5D with my beast 70-200 on it. There’s something super hot about that lens, seriously. Too bad it weighs 843.2 pounds… ish.

On Tuesday night I went out to Murfreesboro and covered the premier of element, a new young adults ministry at Belle Aire Baptist Church.

and one of Casey (different Casey from the above image…) from this past weekend’s wedding, for the fun of it…

This was the first wedding Casey came out with us on, and it was a pleasure having him out. Can’t wait to work with him again. Oh, and his pictures don’t suck, either. Gold star for him.

time to fall asleep to the soothing sounds of a snoring puppy,

not a fan

Apparently Wilson’s not a fan of shadow puppets. I have entirely too much fun terrorizing this dog. =)

Wish the photo came out better… oh well, not bad for an iPhone in nearly complete darkness.

That’s my best “dog” shadow, by the way.

We booked our cruise today on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas for our honeymoon in December, 2008. Woo!

We’ll be sailing from Fort Lauderdale, FL to George Town in Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Already looking forward to the pictures! :-)

Elizabeth and William Cain!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, location or couple for yesterday’s wedding in Fosterville, TN. Elizabeth looked *gorgeous* and Will looked like a model in his brown tux, all complimented by the amaaaaaazing Fosterville Church of Christ.

Adrienne’s nagging me about doing something for our wedding, so I’ll just put this one shot up for now…
